The Shipbuilding & Ship Performance Technology 4.0 event will support shipowners, managers, operators, shipyards, and industry professionals by harnessing industry knowledge to provide expertise and assistance. The focus of the conversation will be key aspects of the solutions, processes, technologies, and practices being developed, used, and implemented throughout a ship’s entire lifecycle.
More than 750 industry attendees from 300+ shipowners, operators, shipyards, and solution-providing companies will participate in the event, discussing advancements and developments in ship lifecycles. Topics will include how to ensure effective design and build processes, efficient operational procedures, enhanced performance, sustainable lifespans, and systematic performance of duties.
Razorleaf’s Chief Architect, Jonathan Scott, will lead a session on February 7, on Digital Acceleration for Shipbuilders and Their Suppliers. This discussion will help event participants understand the value of digital accelerators—new ways to improve the industry’s response time to ever-increasing demands due to the new geo-political environment—and how deploying them will be different from implementing traditional technology projects.
In addition to learning about advancements in technological developments and solutions for the industry, event participants will also have the opportunity network with peers, address capability gaps, understand future trends and requirements, and receive operational feedback and lessons learned from recent activities and practices.

Topics for the two-day conference are as follows:
- Friday, January 24, 2025: Smart Solutions for the Ships’ Performance, including how smart-powered solutions and technologies can enhance a ship’s performance, support operations, assist the crew, maintain safety, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Friday, February 7, 2025: Solutions for the Shipyard, including how shipyards can leverage smart solutions and technologies to evolve their practices and processes; increase efficiency in designing, producing, and maintaining ships; and monitor and manage their associated infrastructure.
Registration is open now, and is free for employees of shipowners, operators/managers, and shipyards. Regular attendee (conference only) and VIP attendee tickets (conference, real-time communication/networking, attendee profiles, and access to session recordings) are also available for purchase for any interested party. The event platform opens on Friday, January 17, 2025, for networking with other attendees.
