Trouble with ENOVIA Full Text Search with EXALEAD?

Attention ENOVIA-EXALEAD Users

Dassault Systèmes has identified a software issue for customers/partners running ENOVIA Full Text Search server with EXALEAD on V6R2012x/V6R2013/3DEXPERIENCE R2014x.  These users may encounter problems on the ENOVIA Full Text Search, starting January 1st, 2016.

Our Recommendations

We invite you to follow the procedures available in our Knowledge Base to prevent any problem occurrences:

As we enter the New Year in 2016, your ENOVIA’s Full Text Search (FTS) bar may have just stopped working due to the SXI license expiring on Dec 31, 2015. You may or may not be affected, it depends on whether your EXALEAD license file is set to expire on 12/31/15, 2018/02/24, or 2037/01/01. Please have your ENOVIA administrator login to the EXALEAD CloudView Administration Console (default port 19001) to further examine your system.

The resolution is written in the QA articles and will give your ENOVIA administrator detailed instructions to resolve the issue.  Essentially, you will need to check your license.txt or cvlicense.dat for the expiration date.

If your expiration date was 12/31/15, you can download a new license.txt file free of charge from the appropriate QA and replace yours which will provide a new expiration date of either 2018/02/24 or 2037/01/01 depending on which EXALEAD release you are running. The EXALEAD service will need to be restarted in order to read the new license file.
