The 2025 GPDIS theme is “The Digital Thread for Manufacturing: Digitally Transformed or a Work in Progress?” Sessions and presentations will highlight how the digital twin and digital thread have emerged as key value propositions to streamline transactions and accelerate recovery from the disruption of changing manufacturing conditions and supply chain instability. They will also cover the digital thread, practical applications of linked data, and data’s relationship to other product lifecycle domains—with a focus on manufacturing and the factory.
