PLM Implementation Consultant

We are currently seeking a highly skilled PLM Implementation Consultant to join our dynamic team in the UK. As a leading provider of PLM solutions and services, we are looking for someone who is passionate about PLM and can deliver custom solutions to our clients’ needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements from clients and leading our backend team to develop and customise the PLM system. You will also be responsible for implementing the changes and supporting the customer in testing them. The Project Manager, works with customers and manages overall project activities. PLM Services Sales Executive – US, UK, India, and Netherlands

A PLM Services Executive will sell consulting and technical services along with Razorleaf-specific products to manufacturers. Sales executives need to be conversant around discussing manufacturing and product development challenges, as well as business transformation trends including digital thread, product planning, supply chain, controlling data/data access, compliance etc.

We are seeking candidates with proven experience selling PLM software or services. This is a consultative sales position and have experience selling to multiple levels within a client organization and conferring with several different departments as part of the sales process. The successful individual will have the ability to prospect and develop sales leads, creating a sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a sales plan to support lead generation, engage a sales cycle, and achieve financial targets

Developer – US, UK, India, and Netherlands

A Developer interprets specifications and direction from the Technical Lead to develop a solution for the application. The Developer seeks to understand the problem to be solved and then develops and tests the necessary code as part of the overall solution. During the execution of these tasks, the Developer will document the code being written as well as the function and operation of the function.

A Developer is experienced in the schema, event model, and API of the application as well as relevant development platforms and languages used to modify the appearance or behavior of the application. Developers are also experienced in using industry best practices in development and testing.

As part of the technical team, the Developer provides functions consistent with programming best practices and Razorleaf’s Engagement Execution Methodology to ensure that the overall solution meets the client’s acceptance criteria.

The Functional Consultant (FC) acts as an interface between the client and the technical teams as the FC gathers information, documents processes, validates functionality, and confirms solutions with users.

A Project Manager (PM) owns the engagement and is responsible and accountable for its successful completion. The PM’s job is to ensure that the engagement proceeds within the specified time frame and under the established budget, while achieving the objectives. Pre-Sales Architect – US, UK, India, and Netherlands

The Pre-Sales Architect (PSA) is engaged with prospects and clients during various phases of the sales process to provide situation analysis, technical and business consultation, competitive positioning, and product demonstrations.

The PSA should be able to understand a client’s problems, the underlying business issues, reframe the client’s perceptions with solutions proposals, and propose solutions that ensures resolution of the client’s business issues. The SAA should further be able to explain how the products and services Razorleaf offers can integrate into the client’s environment.

The PSA will provide approach, structure, and content for inclusion in proposals, RFP replies and SOWs and assist in the generation of necessary sales and marketing collateral. This collateral may include Website content, Webinar content and delivery, SOW and proposal templates, recorded product demonstrations, sales-related PowerPoint presentations, etc.

The PSA should have the ability to, without much direction and oversight, investigate technology (i.e., new PLM products, features, versions), understand its application and value to Razorleaf’s clients and prospects and assist the sales team with positioning.

A Solution Architect (SA) owns the solution (not the engagement), and is responsible for designing, describing, and managing the solution definition over the course of the engagement to ensure that it satisfies the client’s need. The Solution Architect interprets requirements and, relying on personal experience and design patterns from other engagements, develops a functional architecture to satisfy those requirements. Solution Architects stay engaged over the life of the engagement, both to ensure that as the solution progresses, it stays aligned with evolving client needs, as well as to identify risks and issues related to the engagement.

A Solution Architect is a subject matter expert with the experience to speak with authority on their specific domain. They support clients, partners, and colleagues wherever possible to build and strengthen relationships. The Solution Architect supports sales activities by providing estimates and related scope definitions.

  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive solution strategy, utilizing appropriate technology and functionality

Technical Consultant – US, UK, India, and Netherlands

A Technical Consultant (TC) interprets specifications and direction from the Technical Lead to configure the application. During the execution of these tasks, the TC will document the software configuration and other work performed. The TC may be called upon to communicate software capabilities, behaviors, and characteristics to members of the engagement team.

A Technical Consultant is experienced in the schema of the application and well versed in the availability and use of configuration tools related to the application.

Technical Lead – US, UK, India, and Netherlands

A Technical Lead has overall functional responsibility for the engagement to ensure that the final solution matches the specifications and acceptance criteria. The TL interprets a functional architecture and delivers a technical solution to provide the needed functionality, stages the work as input to the Project Manager, and is the primary conduit to the technical team.

The Technical Lead is often the application subject matter expert. The TL relies on personal experience and pattern recognition from other engagements.

The experience of the Technical Lead ensures that the client gets a solution that is built using Razorleaf Engagement Execution Methodology, is in alignment with their functional requirements, meets defined acceptance criteria, and leverages accepted best practices for the incorporated tools and applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Define engagement DevOps plan
  • Enforces Razorleaf SDLC process
  • Ensure technical team has necessary tools, environments, and orientation to the engagement
  • Identify tasks and create a proposed work plan to help define schedule with Project Manager
  • Define, size, and assign tasks to technical resources, including employees and contractors
  • Develop and document technical specifications
  • Identify and communicate risks/issues to ensure that resources and planning stay aligned with engagement goals
  • Present solution reviews to the client
  • Provide technical oversight as the engagement progresses
  • Mentor other consultants
  • Document and share technical lessons learned from engagements to enhance Razorleaf competitiveness
  • Estimate technical solutions when requested
  • Propose new technologies and methodologies to better deliver technical solutions
