Razorleaf participated in Synergis University event in early June held in Bethlehem, PA at the Sands Hotel. Synergis customers received the latest updates and tutorials for all major Autodesk applications including AutoCAD, Inventor, Electrical, SIM, iLogic, Vault, CAM, and Fusion Lifecycle PLM. Rodney Coffey gave two presentations on Fusion Lifecycle, which were very well received. Much discussion was around integrations with systems beyond Autodesk such as ERP, CRM as more organizations want to facilitate collaboration and have the right data in the right systems.
The highlight of the conference was a customer lunch roundtable to discuss PLM and how their respective organizations viewed PLM as well as how they are implementing it. Some of the key issues they raised included:
- Challenges around moving to Cloud? Can you do a hybrid?
- Why do I need Fusion Lifecycle PLM when I have Vault?
- Whether or not to hire PLM administrators
- Getting cultural buy in with small successes
We will be blogging about these topics over the next few weeks because the all merit a discussion. The customers raised some excellent points that are worth sharing beyond the lunch table.
