SmarTeam Core Usage Concepts
This 28-hour course covers the fundamentals of using SmarTeam with attention to the details of how the system operates and includes hands-on exercises. The course is targeted at power users, trainers, solution architects, ST administrators, and implementation team participants with moderate to high-level Windows PC skills and basic CAD knowledge.

- Learning the basic navigation and operation of SmarTeam
- Practicing document and CAD file management and lifecycle in the system
- Developing methodologies for searching, locating, and viewing information in SmarTeam
- Understanding the mechanics of basic operations like object creation, vaulting, and lifecycle
- Defining links, link types, and the role that links play in various SmarTeam modules
- Introducing CAD integration concepts like mappings and mechanisms
- Mastering the SmarTeam Files Explorer and managing files outside of PDM
