Razorleaf is proud to announce the acquisition of Office2PDM and EPDM Dashboard from Extensible CAD. Office2PDM offers a seamless integration between Microsoft Office products and SolidWorks Enterprise PDM (EPDM). EPDM Dashboard provides real-time access to Enterprise PDM vaults, right from Microsoft Outlook, for monitoring the status of documents and workflows. STOW, OH. – August 1, 2011 – Razorleaf, a leading consulting service provider for engineering and manufacturing tools, today announced the acquisition of the Office2PDM and EPDM Dashboard products from Extensible CAD Technologies of Apex, NC. Office2PDM offers a seamless integration between Microsoft Office products and SolidWorks Enterprise PDM (EPDM). EPDM Dashboard provides real-time access to Enterprise PDM vaults, right from Microsoft Outlook, for monitoring the status of documents and workflows.
Razorleaf at ACE 2011
Razorleaf will be attending the Aras Community Event 2011 in late April 2011 as part of our ongoing involvement in the PLM software community. The event, being hosted at The Henry Hotel, will be held in Dearborn, MI and focus on Aras Innovator and solutions built around the product. Razorleaf is anxious to be part of the growing Aras community and to learn what others are doing with the solution. Razorleaf will be presenting multiple times during ACE 2011, including during the Solution Showcase, and will also exhibit at the event. Rand Worldwide Partners with Razorleaf
Razorleaf is pleased to announce our recent relationship with Rand Worldwide, a global provider of technology solutions to organizations with engineering design and information technology requirements. Rand Worldwide selected Razorleaf to provide Rand’s Dassault Systèmes customers with ongoing phone support for ENOVIA SmarTeam, CATIA, and other Dassault products. Rand’s customers began transitioning to Razorleaf’s support processes late in 2010.

Dassault Systemes’ annual North American customer conference, DSCC is coming up in November 2010. SharePoint for PLM Solution Announced
Razorleaf today announces the introduction of an open source SharePoint-based solution developed in collaboration with Actify, Aras, and Microsoft. The solution enables product data assets normally contained within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Product Data Management (PDM) system to be shared throughout the enterprise, as well as with its customers, suppliers, and partners globally, improving collaboration and cycle times by fostering speed to decision – visually. Razorleaf at COE 2010 Aero Workshop

Razorleaf will be speaking at COE 2010 Aerospace & Defense Workshop on October 12, 2010. Jonathan Scott from Razorleaf will deliver “Cleaning Up CATIA V5 Data for PDM or V6” in support of one of Razorleaf’s partners, Adaptive Corporation. This hands-on session is extremely timely given CATIA V5 users’ need to get their data under management in anticipation of CATIA V6. It will also be relevant for those with no V6 plans, but who struggle with getting their CATIA V5 data loaded into basic file management systems like ENOVIA SmarTeam. BOM Summit Plans Progressing
Razorleaf is planning the follow-up to its successful 2009 ENOVIA SmarTeam BOM event, to discuss BOM and configuration management challenges and how ENOVIA SmarTeam can be used in addressing those. Last year’s BOM Summit was jointly driven by Razorleaf, Dassault, and the customers in attendance, and focused on process and methodology rather than tools and technology. Continue Reading…
