ARAS Innovator 9.1 SP6 Compatibility
Early in January 2010, ARAS released Service Pack 6 for version 9.1 of their Innovator product, making it available to subscription holders. In addition to resolving a number of issues, Service Pack 6 added support for Windows 7 clients to their compatibility list.
With this addition, the list of client operating systems supported by Innovator includes Windows XP SP2 and SP3, Vista, and Windows 7. A prior service pack release included support for Internet Explorer 8, making Innovator compatible with IE 6, 7 and 8. And with Innovator supporting .NET Framework versions 2, 3.0 and 3.5, there is good coverage for most client environment combinations.
ARAS Innovator also has good compatibility coverage for Microsoft server operating systems (Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2003 sp2) and database platforms (SQL Server 2005 and 2008). With Innovator running on a full Microsoft stack, it is good to see a commitment to quick support for the latest Microsoft releases.
