Razorleaf Joins Aras Partner Program

Razorleaf is pleased to announce our new relationship with Aras.  We’ve been learning the Aras Innovator product for quite a while, but recently took the next step of joining Aras’ partner program.  We now have multiple members of our consulting team trained in the usage, configuration, and customization of Aras’ PLM tool, and are starting to actively engage with clients.  We’re excited to add Aras Innovator to the portfolio of products which we service, and are equally pleased to be working with the Aras team.  To read more about our relationship with Aras, read the full press release.

    Jonathan,
I see it as a very interesting turn in expanding of Razorleaf experience. Since, Razorleaf is serving customers with multiple systems, what is your view on co-existence of Open Source PLM with other (licensed) PLM solutions?

We certainly see our relationship with Aras as an exiciting opportunity for us and our clients in terms of PLM choice. I believe that open source PLM and licensed solutions can certainly co-exist (we have multiple clients doing/planning this today). However, as open source PLM is relatively new, I think it is too early to tell how open source and licensed PLM solutions will interact. Currently, I think open source PLM like Aras Innovator does a good job of adding capabilities to traditional PLM when a company already has PLM components in place.
