ENOVIA SmarTeam V5R19 SP5 and SolidWorks 2009
If you read our article on ENOVIA SmarTeam V5R19 SP4 for SolidWorks 2009 users, please note this important update to the topic. SolidWorks 2009 users planning to work with ENOVIA SmarTeam need to be aware of specific compatibility issues related to these two versions. In July 2009, Dassault released a hotfix (HF8) for the issues introduced in SP4 that affected the SolidWorks Integration. This hotfix addressed a number of issues, but did not resolve all problems related to SolidWorks 2009 Integration support. With the release of SP5 for V5R19, the most significant issues with the SolidWorks Integration appear to be resolved. Razorleaf has successfully tested SP5, and several clients are either testing or are in production with this version of the software.
As always, please fully test new versions of CAD and PDM in your environment with your specific processes before deploying. Note that Razorleaf’s current recommendation is to deploy Service Pack 5 of V5R19 rather than the Service Pack 4 Hotfix 8 combination.
