V5R19 SP4 SolidWorks Configurations

For companies using SolidWorks and ENOVIA SmarTeam together with plans to deploy V5R19 SP4, note that a significant issue exists related to the management of SolidWorks configurations in the PDM system. Specifically, if you operate in the mode where SmarTeam does not track configurations, you may be unable to perform lifecycle operations after upgrading to Service Pack 4. SP4 for V5R19 has been available for a limited amount of time, so the problem has just recently been discovered and is being reviewed by Dassault currently. If you have plans to test or deploy SP4 of V5R19, please contact us regarding the state of this situation.
