As the 64-bit computer architecture becomes standard for new computer hardware and operating systems, it is only natural that CAD software will support running natively on this architecture. The performance of many, if not all CAD software is directly related to the speed of the CPU, the amount of RAM, and the graphics card of a computer. Some of the advantages of running CAD software on the 64-bit architecture are overall performance improvements and the ability to have more RAM on the computer.
